全英语授课本科“国际经济与贸易”专业课程
北京语言大学开设全英文授课“国际经济与贸易（International Economics and Trade）专业本科生课程，学制4年。

1.掌握经济学、管理学、国际贸易学基本理论和基础知识，了解本学科的理论前沿和发展动态；
2.掌握国际贸易的政策背景、政策措施，能运用定性和定量方法科学评价各国国际贸易政策与措施的影响；
3.通晓国际贸易惯例与规则，熟练掌握国际贸易实务操作的各项专业技能；
4.能熟练运用英语获得专业信息并进行书面与口头业务交流；
5.具有全球视野、创新意识、协作精神和良好的人文素质。

专业必修课：经济学原理，会计学原理，微观经济学，宏观经济学，财政学，货币银行学，管理学原理，应用统计学，国际贸易理论与政策，国际贸易实务，国际金融；
专业限选课：供应链管理，国际营销学，国际文化贸易，跨国公司，国际商务谈判，国际商务函电，经济应用文写作，国际商法，国际结算，国际物流，保险学概论；
专业任选课：微积分，线性代数，概率与数理统计，个人理财，知识产权与技术贸易，外贸制单，投资学，项目管理，企业战略与风险管理，公司理财。
七．毕业要求：
凡注册正式学籍的学生，在规定的学制年限内，修完教学计划规定的课程，取得相应学分，并通过毕业论文答辩，全面鉴定后准予毕业，并获得北京语言大学颁发的学士学位证书。

General Requirements
Applicants for the full-time curriculum of this program will need a secondary school or high school certificate. Education should normally consist of a minimum of 12 years of study. You will need to present transcripts from your graduation diploma or certificate, and any graduation exam results（Academic Transcripts.

Class capacity
Each class has no fewer than 12 students. Exchange students may take courses of this program for one academic year. Language requirements for exchange students are the same as those for full-time students.
Program Objectives
Provided with the distinguishing multi-lingual and multi-cultural environment in BLCU, students of this program will undergo four years’ systematic education under the guidance of IBS’s characteristic Specialty plus English” principle. We aim to educate students to become highly skilled in English, besides having sufficient knowledge about economics, management and law, being familiar with the current trends and practice of international business and trade, knowing about the economic condition and relevant policies and regulations of China’s main target countries of business and trade. Students are expected to be capable of working with department of foreign economics and trades, foreign enterprises and government agencies, or taking other jobs engaged in international trade and international operations and management activities. They can also choose to lead an academic career promoting the study of international trade policy. In sum, our goal of education is to foster business talents with internationalized mindsets, of multiple strengths, and applicable to the current international business and trade field.
Training Standards
Having had this program, students are supposed to be able:
1. To well understand the fundamental theories and knowledge of economics, management and international trade, and know about the latest theory and development of the field;
2. To gain a comprehensive understanding of the policy background and policy making of international trade, and be able to use both qualitative and quantitative methods to conduct scientific evaluations about the influences of international trade policies and regulations of different countries;
3. To be familiar with the customs and rules of international trade practice, and be highly skilled regarding practical operations;
4. To attain proficiency in the use of English in terms of acquisition of professional information and business communication in both spoken and written formats;
5. To have a global vision, an innovative spirit, a collaborative character and all-round humanistic qualities.

Core Courses: Principles of Economics, Principles of Accounting, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Public Finance, Money and Banking, Principles of Management, Statistics for Business, International Trade Theories and Policies, International Trade Practices, and International Finance.
Compulsory Courses
Supply Chain Management, International Marketing, International Cultural Trade, Multinational Corporation, International Business Negotiation, International Business Writing, International Business Law, International Trade Payment and Finance, Global Logistics Management, and Principles of Insurance.
Elective Courses: Calculus, Linear Algebra, Probability and Statistics, Personal Finance, Intellectual Property Rights and Technology Transfer, Foreign Trade Documentation, Investment, Project Management, Corporate Strategy and Risk Management, Corporate Finance.
Graduation Requirements
In order to earn a Bachelor degree (in economics) issued by Beijing Language and Culture University, a formally registered student must complete the curriculum of the program, obtain sufficient credits, and pass the thesis oral defense within the allowed years of study.
